Although it is a benign condition and most patients are asymptomatic, it can cause mental and emotional problems.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In fact, it is an autoimmune disease in which the body&#8217;s immune system mistakenly attacks a person&#8217;s own hair and causes hair loss in that area.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This disease can be limited to one or more small circular areas or involve all the hair on the body.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #2fdac5;\">Treatment:<\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This disease is benign and spontaneous recovery and recurrence are common. Treatment can be local or systemic.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Intralesional corticosteroid therapy is usually the treatment with the best response rate.
