Instructions for care after fat injection by Dr. Hajizadeh:

To achieve the best result, read all the instructions carefully.

  • Swelling, bruising and pain at the fat removal site and the fat injection site are normal in the first 1 to 2 weeks.
  • Take painkillers immediately after the operation and if you have pain, use painkillers every 12 hours.
  • Bleeding from the wound site is normal in the first 48 hours. If the dressing gets wet, change it. After 48 hours, there is no need for dressing.
  • Do light walking for the first few days. This will reduce your pain and swelling.
  • It is normal to have some swelling in the first weeks and it will be resolved with the reduction of swelling.
  • Avoid contact with the sun and high heat. Do not shower for 48 hours after the operation.
  • You can start your daily activities 24 hours after the operation.
  • You can resume light sports after 7 days and intense sports after 14 days.
  • Do not get diet for 2 months, because it causes the loss of transplanted fat.
  • Take the medicines prescribed by Dr. Hajizadeh as directed.
  • A percentage of the transplanted fat is absorbed and lost during the first 2 months, but it is expected that the fat that is not absorbed after 2 months will remain for many years.
  • If you lose or gain weight, this fat will decrease or increase in volume just like the fats in other parts of the body.
  • Because the durability of transplanted fat varies in different people, you may need to do fat injection again.
