To achieve the best result, read all the instructions carefully.

  • Do not use aspirin, ibuprofen, gelofen, diclofenac, indomethacin, mefenamic acid 1 week before surgery.

  • Do not smoke for 1 week before and after surgery (nicotine constricts blood vessels and makes it difficult for oxygen-rich blood to reach the surgical site.)

  • Take a shower on the day of the operation and arrive with clean skin without makeup and without using cream or sunscreen.

  • If you have eyelash extensions, remove them.

  • Avoid wearing jewelry.

  • Start taking vitamin C tablets (1000 mg tablets) twice a day (preferably from 2 weeks before the operation).

  • Inform Dr. Hajizadeh if you have any illness or medication.

  • If you are susceptible to herpes, inform Dr. Hajizadeh.

  • If your surgery is in the morning shift, be sure to eat a light breakfast.

  • Wear comfortable clothes that do not need to be pulled over your head. A button-up or zip-up shirt is best. (Some patients like to wear sweatpants for comfort)

  • After the procedure, you should be taken home by a family member or friend.

  • Swelling, bruising and pain at the surgery site are normal in the first 1-2 weeks. It may take 1-2 weeks for the bruise to completely heal.

  • Bleeding from the suture site is normal in the first 48 hours.

  • In the first 24 hours, apply ice compresses on the eyebrows for 15 to 20 minutes every hour. This will reduce pain and swelling.

  • Take painkillers immediately after the operation and if you have pain, take painkillers every 12 hours.

  • Do light walking for the first few days. This will reduce bruising and swelling.

  • Avoid contact with the sun and excessive heat.

  • Do not shower for 48 hours after the operation.

  • You can start your daily activities 24 hours after the operation.

  • You can resume light sports after 7 days and intense sports after 14 days.

  • Take the medicines prescribed by Dr. Hajizadeh as directed.

  • 9 days after the operation, visit the clinic to remove the stitches.

  • In 2-3 months, the suture line is very little and can even disappear.

  • Use the repairing cream for at least 1-2 months.
