To achieve the best result, read all the instructions carefully.

  • Do not use aspirin, ibuprofen, gelofen, diclofenac, indomethacin, mefenamic acid 1 week before surgery.
  • 1 week before using skin stimulant creams (retinoids, salicylic acid, hydroquinone, glycolics) and avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight and tanning.
  • Do not smoke for 1 week before and after surgery (nicotine constricts blood vessels and makes it difficult for oxygen-rich blood to reach the surgical site)
  • Take a shower on the day of the operation and arrive with clean skin without makeup and without using cream or sunscreen.
  • It is better for men to shave their beard.
  • Avoid wearing jewelry.
  • Start taking vitamin C tablets (1000 mg tablets) twice a day. (preferably from 2 weeks before the operation)
  • In case of illness or use of medicine, including roaccutane, inform Dr. Hajizadeh.
  • If you are susceptible to herpes, inform Dr. Hajizadeh.
  • If your surgery is in the morning shift, be sure to eat a light breakfast.
  • Wear comfortable clothes that do not need to be pulled over your head. A button-up or zip-up shirt is best. (Some patients like to wear sweatpants for comfort)
  • After the procedure, you should be taken home by a family member or friend.

  • Swelling, bruising and pain are normal in the first few days. Blood discharge from the wound site is normal in the first 48 hours.

  • You can wash your face with mild detergents the day after the operation. Avoid From a lot of washing and use scrubbing and excessive heat in the treated area.
  • Use colorless sunscreen regularly from the day after the operation. (Do not use color or makeup)
  • You can resume light sports after 5 days and intense sports after 7 days.
  • If you use anti-blemish or exfoliating creams before the treatment, you can use them after 2 weeks.
  • Avoid tanning with cream or sun for at least 6 weeks.
  • Take the medicines prescribed by Dr. Hajizadeh as directed.
